honesty1One of the most important qualities that an individual can have is an ability to be honest. Honest people are trustworthy. We want to be their friends. And we want to be their customers. That is something to keep in mind if you are a small business owner. If you project the image that you are honest with your customers then you are going to have a loyal ever-growing customer base.

It’s not always easy to be honest with our customers. Sometimes it requires that we reveal information that we fear may make them disinterested in working with us. For example, let’s look at a company that sells human growth hormone to athletes. They may not want to be bluntly honest about the side effects of hgh because they’re afraid that doing so would make their customers wary of using the supplement.

However, the reality is that these customers already know that there must be some side effects. If the seller is honest about what those are and how to deal with them then the customer is going to realize that the product is safe. The customer will also realize that the seller is honest and that is what will seal the sale.
