I have excellent interpersonal skills, am bilingual/spanish with strong data entry skills, enjoy research and problem solving, strong accuracy with 10-key adding key pad, type 50+ wpm, Software efficiency in Microsoft Word, Office, Excel, Powerpoint and Word Perfect, aptitude for detail and accuracy and strong organizational skills.

If you have the medical coding and billing education, they consider you experienced. But you have to actually take the classes. It’s a lot more involved than you might think and you have to go to take new classes all the time as things in the medical field are constantly changing. I recommend medical transcription, you can take these classes online and be done in a few month’s time if you’re diligent. Good luck!
