software programming I think is more independant, and you can even by a book and compiler and learn a language in a month.
Medical billing is school dependant - I would do the first at home to see if I like it. If not, then do medical billing at school
Go into politics; good salary, good expenses, employ your hubby on good wages, mortgage paid for by tax-payer, a gong when retired, extra well paid part time jobs and a marvelous pension
certifactes and associates won’t do much for you, I suggest going for a 4 year degree since many computer jobs require a 4 year degree. Medical insurance sounds the fastest way, but probably wont pay as much as a 4 year degree.
For now computer software is good field that will remain in demand as insurance gets more complicated and the latest technology in order to keep up.

Look at what the market has in high demand and then match what you like to that demand. Building websites, medical billing, etc. should be in demand for a long time to come.
